About us
It's Ealing was set up in 2009 by Elliot and Lucy; two people with a desire to give individuals a platform to share their thoughts, opinions and ideas about Ealing, West London.
This site is the antithesis of a local newspaper: we don't try to tell you how to live your life; instead, we share thoughts around the bizarre phenomenon that is life, through blogs, stories and column style pieces.
We have no hidden agenda, simply individual views with absolutely no spin. This site is for you to post your own story - anything, about Ealing; whatever subject is on your mind.
To ensure the core site retains a consistent editorial tone, all contributors are 'invited' to sign up. Once signed up, you're able to comment throughout the site, and add articles to your own personal area of the site. Any article we particularly like the look of will be moved to the core site. If we move several of your articles to the core site, we'll upgrade your site access, so you can add articles to the core site whenever you like. We're interested in hearing from people with ideas and opinions, who question life and are open to its challenges.
Whether you're an occasional browser just dipping in to see what's going on, or an established writer looking for a new platform to air your views, welcome. We are fortunate to be living at a time when technology enables us to openly and immediately share with others throughout the world, in a forum where we are all equal. Let's celebrate that together.
